Hello there!  House Farm Flower Company is our little slice of heaven tucked away in growing zone 5a, Penobscot County, Lincoln, Maine.  Owned and operated by me (Jessica), my husband Aaron, and our kids, our farm is more than just a business—it’s our heart, planted in the land we love and the community we call home.

Our journey here was a bit of a winding road.  While raising our four kids, Aaron and I worked multiple jobs in Towns across Maine, searching for that one thing that felt like "purpose."  Eventually, it led us right back to where we started! When we saw a listing for an overgrown parcel of farmland, fields marked by old stone walls hidden under trees and brush, we knew that we had found something special.  With a lot of elbow grease and an eye to the future, House Farm began to bloom.

Farming is in our DNA.  Aaron comes from generations of gardeners, and I got my start as a high schooler working at a local greenhouse.  Over the years, we’ve grown vegetables, preserved food for family and friends, raised livestock (and children!), and planted perennials and shrubs to adorn our home.  As our connection to the soil deepened, we discovered that, in a fast-paced world, the time we spent outside with our hands in the dirt and the sun on our backs felt grounding and restorative.

The real "aha!" moment happened in 2025.  Our oldest daughter was getting married, so we swapped our usual vegetable patches for rows of dahlias, zinnias, and snapdragons.  Our children marveled at bumblebees collecting pollen atop giant zinnia blooms.  We watched while hummingbirds hovered and butterflies drifted through the garden to sample the honeyed nectar.  Time slowed. The world quieted. There was only sun, soil, and beauty.
